Child Protection Cases
I represent parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters, etc. on all of the following types of cases:
Out of Court
1. Negotiating a Voluntary Service Agreement with the Society;
2. Preparing/Reviewing a Temporary Care Agreement (“TCA”) with the Society; and
3. Consultation on whether the Society should even be involved with your family at all.
Court Cases
1. Protection Application where the Society is asking the court to find your child or children to be in “need of protection” and is seeking either a supervision order, a Society Wardship order or a Crown Warship Order, with or without access;
2. Status Review Application where the Society is asking the court to find your child or children to be in “continued need of protection” and is seeking either a supervision order, a Society Wardship order or a Crown Warship Order, with or without access;
3. Appeals of any of the orders made as a result of any step taken in a Protection Application or Status Review Application.
