Margaret A. Vicente was called to the bar in Ontario in 2005. Ms. Vicente is a graduate of the University of Windsor. She earned an honours degree in Criminology from the University of Windsor in 2000 and graduated from the Faculty of Law in 2004. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario (formerly the Law Society of Upper Canada), the Essex County Law Association and the Kent County Law Association.
Ms. Vicente practices in the areas of child protection law (Children's Aid Society matters in Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent and Sarnia-Lambton), family law, fertility law, employment law, small claims court matters and wills. She is a personal rights panel member for the Office of the Children's Lawyer.
Ms. Vicente is a past member and Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Kidney Foundation of Canada. She is the co-founder of the Ontario Association of Child Protection Lawyers, of which she was the first and is the past Vice President.
